The Greater Gorham Farmer’s Market opens this Saturday, May 6, on the green next to the library. The market runs each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., rain or shine, and continues through October.

Vendors will be selling many items including produce, flowers, honey, eggs, baked goods, grass-fed beef, pork and lamb, goat’s milk soap, and crafts. Musicians will perform throughout the season, beginning with Portland, Maine-based Brian Callaghan, a guitarist, vocalist, composer and music teacher who will be there for opening day. Two juried craft fair days are planned and the group is hopeful to have local food trucks visit on occasion.

This year’s vendors are: Bamps Bees Honey, Blue Star Soap Company, Dow Farm Enterprise, Falling Star Farm, Findview Farm, Glad Harvest Farm, Gracie’s Garden, MoMunch Granola, Old Wells Farm, Oscar’s Farm, Pearson’s Town Farm, Sweet and Savory Bake House, and Willow Dreamz.
