The Gorham Food Pantry’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Debra Tanguay has been named as its new executive director. Deb will replace Fran Doucette, who is retiring from the position in late-April after years of service to the Gorham community. At the same time, the GFP would also like to announce the promotion of David Therriault, a longtime Pantry volunteer, to the position of Inventory Coordinator.

Diane O’Neill, GFP’s board president said, “Fran Doucette is one of the original Pantry founders and leaves an extraordinary legacy of caring and compassion in the Gorham community from her 20-years of service. After a three-month search to find an individual with the qualifications and personal traits to take on this important role, we feel extremely fortunate to have found someone with Deb Tanguay’s character and integrity, caring, humility and vision, to lead the Gorham Food Pantry into the future.”
