USM police officers are investigating a report of two incidents that occurred during the morning of October 10 on the Gorham campus, wherein an unknown male sitting in a vehicle exposed himself to two female students. In both instances the male called the student over and exposed himself while sitting in his vehicle.

USM police were in the area and immediately responded to the reports. Despite a thorough check of the entire campus and surrounding areas, the suspicious vehicle was not located. Gorham Police were notified of the incident but also did not locate the vehicle.

The suspect was described as a light skinned male in his thirties with dark colored “greasy” or “slicked back” hair, possibly pulled pack into a hair bun on top, possibly shaved on the sides, and wearing a dark colored utility or mechanic’s jacket.

He was operating a dark grey or black, mid 2000’s Chevy or GMC pickup truck with lots of rust on the fenders around the wheels, bearing a Maine registration plate ending in “E” or “UE”. Anyone having information is encouraged to call USM Public Safety at 780-5211.
