At the September regular meeting, the Gorham Town Council appointed seven members to the new Affordable Housing Committee, Jan Parker and Kathryn Morin (1 year terms); Rob Korobkin and Zac Chabot (2 year terms) and Greg McCormack, Dan Nichols, and Christine Dyke (3 year terms). They will set their first meeting time.

The committee is charged with studying “key issues affecting the quantity, availability, and affordability of housing in Gorham.” Duties include making recommendations to encourage and support affordable housing for those whose income is at or below the area median income.
The committee will report to the Town Council every six months.
