The Town Council Appointments Committee is seeking citizen volunteers for an opening on the Planning Board. Applications will be accepted until Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026. Nomination Paper Applications (School Committee and Town Council):
Nomination papers are now available for School Committee and Town Council. The Municipal election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026 for the purpose of electing two persons for Town Council to serve a three-year term, and three persons for School Committee to serve a three-year term.
Completed nomination papers must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026.
Any registered voter of the Town of Gorham who is interested in running for any of these positions, must submit nomination papers with no less than 35 or more than 50 signatures of persons who are registered voters of the Town of Gorham.
