A bitterly cold evening did not keep a large group from attending the Baxter Memorial Library’s event featuring New York Times bestselling author Julia Spencer Fleming. Besides talking about her latest book “At Midnight Comes The Cry,” she talked about her process of writing and the development of the main characters in her books. The Library is grateful to the Friends of Baxter Library for bringing community-oriented presentations to Gorham.
