Harmony Masonic Lodge #38 on Cressey Road in Gorham is planning to hold a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross on Saturday, Sept.6from9a.m.–2p.m.The American Red Cross has over 135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need.
Each pint of blood that is collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. Lodge members are excited about the drive and hope community members will donate and/or volunteer to help at the drive.
Al Tarkinson of Harmony Lodge is leading this initiative. The theme is “Community and the Patients in Need of Blood.”
There are many ways to help, but most importantly, it is to help by donating. Volunteers can help be a recruiter, sign-up family and friends, spread the word about the blood drive.
