On Wednesday, Sept. 24, at approximately 10:30 a.m., at the corner of Morrill Avenue, there was an accident involving a Gorham school bus and a motor vehicle. The bus was occupied by three students and an educational technician.
The bus driver, Christopher Cousin, the motor vehicle operator, Andrew Quinn and the school employee were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The three GHS students were evaluated by EMS on scene and released to their parents.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and being reconstructed by the Gorham and Windham police departments.Mutual Aid was provided by Westbrook, Standish, Buxton, and Windham Fire Departments.
