Joe Pastore Jr., a long-time, successful race car driver from Gorham says goodbye to his home track Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The closing of the track was announced by the owner of Beech Ridge, during a post-race awards ceremony in September.

Pastore had multiple wins this season. In addition to winning the last two races of the year, he won 3 other races in two divisions.

“In the past 4 years, he has won 18 races at the home track, which is quite an achievement,” explains one of his biggest fans, his mother, Donna. “The loss of Beech Ridge is a huge loss to him, his family, and his team. It truly is like losing a home. He developed his skills there and achieved much success over the years.”

He will continue his racing career at Oxford Plains Speedway, Wiscasset Speedway, and White Mountain Motorsports Track. Good luck to Pastore and his racing team next season.
