Administrative Assistant, Gorham School Dining Program

The Gorham School District’s nutrition department recently strengthened relationships and the school community as staff gathered to celebrate Whoopie Wellness. The event was designed to promote social wellness and strengthen relationships among staff members, because wellness is about more than just nutrition and fitness; it’s also about community.

Gorham’s nutrition professionals work hard every day to fuel students with the nutrients they need for active learning, and this celebration was a small way to recognize their dedication while bringing colleagues together.

How lucky are our students to attend school in a district built on a foundation of connection and togetherness? When adults build strong relationships, it creates a positive, supportive environment for students to learn and grow.

Strong bonds truly build bright futures.

Meanwhile, we couldn’t forget everyone at Central Office! Village’s cafe assistant, Kelly Shaw, and the Nutrition Department’s administrative assistant, Diana Blanchard, delivered to the Central Office. Here they are with Assistant Superintendent Quinton Donahue. (Photo by Raina Lee Cooper)
