Officer Vincent Perfetto was sworn in as a new officer with the Gorham Police Department on September 13th. Perfetto holds an Associates Degree and an advanced certificate in Criminal Justice from Central Maine Community College. He has also completed Phases I and II of the Maine Law Enforcement pre-service program. He will be assigned to the midnight patrol shift after he completes training programs at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

Robert Cunningham has eight years of experience with the Portland Police Department. He began his career with the Gorham Police Department in March of 2020. He will be assigned to Gorham High School, replacing Michael Coffin.

Michael Coffin has been promoted to Sergeant. Coffin holds an Associates degree from SMCC. He began his career with the Gorham Police in August 1999. He was appointed as a detective in 2003 and served as a task force agent for the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency from 2011-2015. From 2015-2021, Coffin served as the School Resource Officer at Gorham High School. He began his new assignment on September 20, supervising the midnight shift.
