Brodie Berlinger, a graduating senior at Gorham High School, has been honored with a 2026 #CreateConnectCare Award from Creative Visions. This global initiative celebrates youth creativity as a tool for promoting mental health awareness, fostering emotional connection, and supporting community care.

Selected from thousands of submissions across the U.S. and internationally, Brodie has been honored with the Spark of Inspiration Award in the 16 to 18-year-olds film/video category for his work, “Finding Your Frequency.” His piece was recognized for its creativity, emotional depth and ability to inspire others to speak up and feel seen.

The #CreateConnectCare Awards were announced in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, a moment to reflect on the urgent need for youth support and emotional well-being. With one in seven adolescents worldwide experiencing mental health challenges, the program highlights the importance of safe, creative outlets for youth expression and healing.

Brodie joins 50 youth awardees from 50 U.S. states and 15 countries, as well as three Educator Champions who were recognized for empowering student voices in the classroom.
