On Saturday, May 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Gorham Middle School, there will be a Butterfly Ball, Father and Daughter Dance Fundraiser. All girls in the Gorham School District (Pre-K through fifth grade) are welcome. They are invited to bring their favorite grown-up – dad, grandfather, uncle, or another special adult – for a night to remember. The cost is $30 for a father-and-daughter pair and $10 for an additional daughter.
All proceeds from this event go directly toward helping the Great Falls Elementary Fourth Grade Odyssey of the Mind Team attend World Finals. These students have worked incredibly hard, earning first place in their problem and division and the opportunity to compete on a global stage.
Your support helps cover travel, lodging and competition expenses, making this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible.
At the ball, there will be dancing, light refreshments, a prize raffle, photo opportunities, as well as a whimsical butterfly-themed atmosphere.
This event promises to be a memorable evening and an opportunity to help a team of creative, determined kids chase a big goal.
