Baxter Memorial Library sponsored a Meet the Candidates night for those running for the Town Council and School Committee on Sept. 30. An overflow crowd was present with more audience members than chairs. Another candidates night will be held at the North Gorham Library on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.

All of the candidates were allowed five minutes to let the audience know who they were and a little about why they were running. After the presentations, audience members spent time speaking to the individual candidates.
