Members of the Lakes Region Senior Center’s Studio Group, which meets each Wednesday at Gorham’s Little Falls Activity Center, are exhibiting their art this month in the Stier Family Gallery at Thomas Memorial Library in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

The Lakes Region Senior Center’s Studio Group is composed of over 14 members who have met weekly since the group’s inception in 2018. They are a diverse assemblage of friendly, creative retirees from Gorham and surrounding communities who help inspire each other in oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels and pen-and-ink creations. The members showing at the library are John Jackson, Sharmon Toner, Shelby Driscoll, Pat Allen, John Tiedje, Mary Snell, Diane Caswell, Mikki VanSummern, Diane Atwood, Brenda McGovern and Bernie Wall.

Stop by the Thomas Memorial Library, 6 Scott Dyer Road, Cape Elizabeth, and see what talent we nurture here in Gorham. The exhibit, which opened on Sept. 1, runs through the end of the month.
